Description We’re excited to offer Bartlein 400MODBB pre-fit barrels. This new material performs better than standard 416 stainless. In both lab and real-world tests, it lasts 1.5 to 2 times longer. Barrel life always depends on many factors, so nothing is guaranteed. Still, the results speak for themselves. For example, in 6.5 Creedmoor pressure tests, standard barrels are pulled at around 1,700 rounds. With 400MODBB, the same test ran to 3,500 rounds before removal. In 6mm calibers, barrels that typically last 1,500 rounds have reached 3,000 with this material. That’s a big leap in longevity. We offer pre-fit Bartlein MOD 400BB barrels for a wide range of actions.
